Building the product from the ground up as founding designer: the brand, the design system, and every core flow.

Defined the full design system (components, tokens, and brand language) as the product’s single source of truth.

Direct AI as a multiplier: agentic workflows for requirements planning, first-pass Figma layouts, and designing in code, shipping faster without giving up the judgment that makes the work successful. Established the team’s AI workflow and onboarded another designer.

Expanded into mobile and cross-device design, and built high-stakes prototypes for investor pitches.

Lead the development and governance of Sonatype’s design system, enabling consistency and scalability across a complex suite of enterprise software products

Collaborate with product, engineering, and executive leadership on Annual Operating Plan (AOP) initiatives and platform strategy, aligning design efforts with Product-Led Growth principles

Design accessible, data-dense interfaces—such as dashboards and cross-product navigation—guided by user research and WCAG standards to support diverse user personas, including executive and legal roles

Designed across a suite of enterprise software, moving from brand and UX into full product design at enterprise scale.

Helped build and maintain Tartan, Sonatype’s open-source design system, including a Figma UI kit and a React component library that kept the product suite consistent.

Drove accessibility improvements, including a dark mode initiative that exceeded Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.

Consolidated several platform sites into one centralized experience (my.sonatype.com), and designed Looker dashboards for executive, legal, and engineering personas, informed by user research.
